Reservation Cancellation Policies

At Séjour Privé, we offer several cancellation policies, which vary depending on the house, chalet or villa booked, as well as the length of stay and the rate conditions applied.

Our policies do not cover last-minute cancellations outside of the booking conditions, including those related to COVID-19 or other similar circumstances.

This is why we recommend that our travelers take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen event before their departure.

The cancellation conditions specific to each property are indicated on its presentation page.

Our travel advisors ensure that each client is informed of the applicable policies before any booking is confirmed.

If you are looking for more flexible terms, our team can direct you to properties that match your preferences.

Our standard policies do not provide for refunds in the following situations:

• Obligation to isolate or COVID-19 contamination preventing departure,

• Government recommendations advising against travel to the destination,

• Temporary closure of the destination to visitors,

• Implementation of quarantine measures.

It is the responsibility of each traveler to check the latest health and travel regulations before departure.

We therefore recommend consulting local official guidelines regarding international travel before booking with Séjour Privé.

Although we always do our best to accommodate a postponement of your stay in the event of a change in travel plans, this is not guaranteed.

Therefore, we strongly advise all our clients to protect themselves with comprehensive travel insurance covering the entire stay.

Cancellation policy for houses and apartments

Standard

Valid for stays up to 60 nights.

In case of cancellation, we refund 50% of the reservation amount up to 14 days before the arrival date. If canceled within 14 days of the arrival date, the reservation will not be refunded.

Flexible

Available for stays up to 30 nights

Guests can cancel or modify their stay up to five days before arrival, free of charge. If canceled five days or less before arrival, the Flexible Rate reservation becomes non-refundable. Please note that once a Flexible Rate reservation is made, it cannot be canceled and rebooked without this Rate.

Long Stay

Applicable to stays of 60 nights or more

In case of cancellation, we refund 50% of the first 60 nights, up to 14 days before the arrival date. If canceled within 14 days of arrival, the first 60 days booked are non-refundable.

During your stay, you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice; the remaining nights will be refundable, but the first 60 days remain non-refundable.

Cancellation policy for villas and chalets

Standard

If you wish to cancel, we will refund 50% of the reservation amount up to 90 days before the arrival date. If you cancel less than 90 days before the arrival date, the reservation will be non-refundable.

If you would like more flexible cancellation policies, please contact our travel advisors. They can negotiate greater flexibility, particularly during off-peak seasons, or recommend more flexible alternatives.

Before canceling, please read and understand the cancellation policy specific to your reservation. These are available on the listing page of the house or villa you have chosen before booking, as well as in your booking confirmation email.

Our cancellation and refund policies vary and may offer a full, partial, or no refund depending on how close your cancellation is to your arrival date and chosen destination. To cancel your reservation, you must contact us by email or phone.

Please note that your reservation will not be cancelled until you receive our cancellation confirmation.

Refunds can take up to 14 days, depending on your booking location and your bank's processing times. Please note that we can only issue refunds to the bank account or credit card used for the booking. You will receive written confirmation of your refund once it has been processed.

It's possible. To change your reservation, you'll need to contact us. We'll submit a change request to the owner of the villa, chalet, or house and notify you of the outcome as soon as possible. If your desired dates are unavailable or the owner cannot accept the change, your original booking dates and conditions will remain unchanged.

It depends. Our rates vary throughout the year, depending on the booking season. Your travel advisor will be able to provide you with pricing information if there are any changes, and the rate will be calculated for the new dates selected.

Yes. To transfer your booking to another customer, you must contact us. Please have all necessary information ready, including the contact details of the person you are transferring the voucher to. All primary customers must be over 25 years old.

For city bookings, you will find your individual cancellation policies in the Terms and Conditions section of your booking file. For villa and chalet bookings, this information is included in your booking confirmation email.

To avoid unnecessary fees if you wish to change a reservation, please ensure you have read your individual cancellation policy. Refunds and changes may vary depending on the notice period of your reservation.

  • For bookings of homes in London, Paris, and Los Angeles, please notify us as soon as your plans change. For standard bookings, your reservation is 50% refundable up to 14 days before the scheduled date, and non-refundable after 14 days.
  • For flexible rate bookings, you can notify us more than five days before your arrival date.
  • For New York City home reservations, please refer to your rental agreement for exact cancellation policies.
  • For villa and chalet bookings, please check your booking confirmation email for exact cancellation policies.
